I am attempting to contact people who during the course of tracing their family tree, discovered an ancestor who died
or drowned when a hospital ship sank. The vessels were lost when they struck mines or were deliberately torpedoed.
In particular I am seeking photographs of the victims and ideally a short paragraph of information on the deceased. Such images frequently
appeared in the newspapers of the period, or were bought in a postcard format from photography booths, thousands of the postcards have
survived in old family albums.
The inclusion of such images within a book greatly enhance the story, and also serve as a modest commemoration of
someone's almost forgotten relation.
